Read a quick summary of my creative journey that brought me to where I am today.
First Art Museum
A high school field trip to Cheekwood Botanical Gardens that changed my life! It was the first time I visited an art museum and I fell in love with the gardens and art. I've been to Cheekwood every season since.
College Years in Chemistry
College years were spent in the chemistry labs researching, late nights studying at the library, and overall running myself ragged! A big career change was bound to happen.
Art All the Way
After finishing my degree in chemistry, I completely changed career paths and pursued as many creative jobs as I could while getting my degree in graphic design. I was a part-time art teacher, a custom frame designer, a social media specialist, and an editor at my college's newspaper.
Designer & Ceramic Artist
I have now found a love for graphic design, especially print design, and for functional ceramics. After winning an award for my ceramic art, I began teaching ceramics. Now my days are spent doing what I love: being creative.
